These boots are insulated with 400 grams of Thinsulate Ultra for added warmth. Thinsulate Ultra Insulation provides warmth without bulk, and will not compress, lose efficiency or trap perspiration. The removable double density footbed gives you cushioning and stability with every step you take. It weighs one third as much as rubber, yet absorbs four times the force of each step giving you more energy and less fatigue-even while doing exhausting work like cutting trees and stacking wood. The durable yet lightweight midsole adds even more cushioning. And compression pads in the heel and forefoot of the outsole compress into the outsole to dissipate forces before they reach the feet and legs. The fiberglass shank is lightweight, weighs 75% less than steel, and reduces the fatigue you can feel after carrying around all that steel all day.
